Our story
With many years of work in the charitable and not-for-profit sector, Marie-Claude has touched on multiple roles, areas and issues while working for small, medium and large organizations in Alberta and Quebec.
Through these experiences, she discovered that there are very few services and expertise in philanthropy whose strategies and approaches are accessible and adapted to small-scale organizations.
Convinced that there are solutions for this niche, she created Espace idées in 2017. Since then, Marie-Claude has been working with organizations across Quebec, offering planning, training and consulting services to help them achieve their philanthropic goals.
Fluently bilingual, she holds a master's degree in communications and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Calgary, as well as a certification in philanthropic management from Mount Royal University in Calgary.
In addition to her business, Marie-Claude is also passionate about running, mixed arts, reading and her animals.
